    Julia Falzarano
    MSW, RSW

    Social Worker

    Julia is an MSW, RSW with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) and a member of the Ontario Association of Social Workers (OASW). She is an active member of the Student Advisory Committee at OASW and is dedicated to lifelong learning.

    Julia received her Bachelor of Health Studies from York University, Honours Bachelor of Social Work from Lakehead University, and a Master’s degree in Social Work from the Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work at the University of Toronto. She was awarded the Hilary M. Weston Scholarship for her commitment to mental health issues and outstanding academic achievement. She has post-MSW experience working as a crisis intervention counsellor for victims of crime or tragic circumstances.

    Julia specializes in supporting individuals with anxiety, social and emotional regulation difficulties, school issues, grief and loss, and neurodevelopmental disorders such as ADHD and Autism. She has completed training in Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Directive Play Therapy, and Trauma-Informed Care. Julia also completed extensive volunteer training in Grief and Bereavement and holds a certification in Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST).

    Julia uses a warm, supportive, and strengths-based therapeutic approach and is passionate about creating a non-judgmental environment. She values collaboration and aims to help clients achieve their goals, develop practical skills to use in day-to-day life, and improve their quality of life in a holistic way.
