*NEW* Caregiver and Baby Group: From Babbles to Words

From Babbles to Words is aimed at providing caregivers with babies 9 to 18 months with strategies to promote their child’s communication development, such as increasing sounds in babbling and use of words, and improving their child’s ability to understand simple instructions and identify common objects and actions.

Sessions will include demonstration and instruction of specific strategies to support language development, and how to implement these strategies within daily activities and play. Sessions will involve use of songs, books, and play-based activities. Information will be provided regarding language milestones and how to work toward acquisition of these milestones.

This group is facilitated by a Registered Speech-Language Pathologist and will take place in-person at the clinic.
