Psychologist (Supervised Practice)

Tasmia Hai, Ph.D., C.Psych (Supervised Practice) specializes in the assessment and treatment of children and adolescents. She completed her Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Human Biology and Psychology at the University of Toronto and her Ph.D. in School and Clinical Child Psychology at the University of Alberta. Dr. Hai has clinical experience in diverse settings, including hospitals and remote and rural regions of Northwestern Ontario. She also practiced within school boards in Alberta (Rockyview Schools and Edmonton Public School Board) and Ontario (York Region District School board).

Dr. Hai has experience working with a variety of mental health and neurodevelopmental concerns, including anxiety, mood issues, emotion dysregulation, learning disabilities, Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and autism spectrum disorders (ASD). Dr. Hai provides therapeutic services and completes psychological/psychoeducational assessments for children and adolescents between the ages of 6-21 years old. She uses Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Dialectic Behaviour therapy along with Client Centered approaches to create the ideal treatment program to meet the specific needs of the client and their family.
