Dr. Madhavi Moharir
MD, FRCPC

General & Consulting Paediatrician

Dr. Moharir is a consulting general paediatrician, who completed medical school and paediatrics residency at the University of Mumbai in India. She then pursued additional fellowship training in general paediatrics and neonatology at the Children’s Hospital at Westmead, Sydney, Australia. After moving to Canada, she completed her paediatric residency at McMaster Children’s Hospital and McMaster University. She also completed her fellowship training in Social Paediatrics at the Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto. She is a certified Fellow of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

Dr. Moharir has considerable experience working with premature babies, and continues to work with various neonatal follow-up clinics. She also has vast experience in child maltreatment, behavioural problems, and speech and language delay. She has practicing privileges in general paediatrics at McMaster Children’s Hospital and St Joseph’s Hospital in Hamilton.

Dr. Moharir is accepting referrals to provide consultation regarding specific complaints in premature babies, children and adolescents. 

*Please note that Dr. Moharir is a consulting general paediatrician who can address a variety of conditions. However, she does not complete developmental assessments (i.e. ADOS).
