Speech-Language Pathologist

Andrea is a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist with a passion for supporting families in helping their loved ones. She strives to deliver client-centered care by working collaboratively with families to provide evidence-based practices for helping their child achieve their speech, language, and communication goals. Andrea values child-led therapy and parent coaching, ensuring each session is personalized to the child’s unique needs and interests, while also empowering parents to play an active role in their child’s development.

With experience providing assessment and treatment to toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged children, Andrea has addressed a range of communication challenges, including social communication, language, speech, literacy and fluency. She has also worked with children with developmental disorders, including autism spectrum disorder and cerebral palsy. Andrea is certified in “Hanen’s More Than Words,” “Intro to PROMPT: Technique,” and “Natural Language Acquisition,” equipping her with a set of skills to address the varied needs of her clients. 

Andrea holds a Master of Clinical Science in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Western Ontario, and a Bachelor of Arts in Health Sciences with distinction from Simon Fraser University. Andrea is a member in good standing with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO). She is also a member of Speech-Language Audiology Canada (SAC).
