We recognize that every client has different requirements and therefore strive to customize treatment plans. Every treatment approach is tailored to the client’s lifestyle and interests whether it is related to a sport, recreational activity or everyday life.

Orthopaedic & Sports Physiotherapy
The practice of Orthopaedic Physiotherapy includes the assessment, identification and treatment of injuries, impairments and conditions related to the musculoskeletal (bone, joint, muscles and soft tissue) and the neuromuscular (nerve and muscle) systems. A physiotherapist performs a thorough assessment of the injury, impairment or condition to determine the root cause of the symptoms. Then, a detailed treatment plan is established taking into consideration the client’s lifestyle, activities and goals. The treatment plan will include techniques and strategies to relieve the physical symptoms of the injury (i.e., pain, inflammation), restore loss of motion, strength, balance and return the client to their activity and function. Furthermore, physiotherapists play an integral role in health promotion and the prevention of future injuries.
