Carolyn Davidson

Speech-Language Pathologist
Carolyn Davidson is a speech-language pathologist with over 10 years’ experience working with children and adolescents with special needs: including autism, motor speech disorders, acquired brain injury, Down syndrome, and global developmental delay. She has a wealth of experience, having worked in both the public and private sector.
Carolyn is passionate about working with families and empowering parents with the tools to help their child succeed. She has led numerous workshops and presentations for families and other professionals, focusing on: ways to facilitate communication goals in everyday routines, identifying red flags for communication delays, and working collaboratively on a multi-disciplinary. Carolyn has received PROMPT level I certification, is certified to lead various Hanen workshops, and received specialized training in ADOS (Autism Diagnostic Observation Scale) administration. In addition, she has received ongoing training in treating children with motor speech disorders and autism.
Carolyn completed an Honours Bachelor of Science degree at York University followed by a Master’s of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology at the State University of New York. Carolyn is a member in good standing with the College of Audiologist and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario.
